Fern Moss

Thuidium sp., commonly referred to as Fern Moss, Sheet Moss, or Carpet Moss, is a light and airy moss that forms a carpet-like structure. It grows horizontally on land but will grow vertically when fully submerged in water.

This moss is the most versatile and economical choice for Terrarium, Palladium, and Aquarium constructions. A single piece can cover a surprisingly large area and is modular. Cutting the moss with scissors or tearing it by hand will not harm the plant, and it is recommended for a perfect fit against the glass of your tank or terrarium.

Fern Moss thrives underwater, provided the conditions are right.
